Chinese Antique Wood Metal Hinged Top Tobacco Case

  

This is a fabulous Antique handmade and hand carved hinged wood Tobacco container that has a belt clip from the Yi minority of China. The Yi people mainly live in provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou, and Guangxi Zhuang. This wonderful hand carved tobacco container has a hollow interior. These containers were carved out of indigenous wood and usually worn on a belt and designed to carry tobacco and are wide at the edges of the fitted hinged lid.

This is one of a kind tobacco container and very hard to find today. This would be lovely to give as a gift or use as decor in your home.
